name brand or not name brand for preschool kids??? is it really that important at that age?? 26
this past October my son went on a field trip to a pumpkin patch with his preshool class and so i dressed him pretty casual for a day in the pumpkin patch. a , and hoodie, with a pair of jeans and his favorite shoes, transformer sneakers. well when i dropped him off that morning i was just saying goodbye when another kid looks at him and says “Dante you look like a bum”. i just gave the kid a look, said my goodbyes and went to work. but the whole day i was thinking about that and it seriously bothered me. i’m sorry i don’t dress my kid up in a tuxedo to go to the pumpkin patch LOL. the kid that said that, by the way, had on a polo button down shirt and some tan khaki pants on. now seriously who dresses their kid up for a fashion show to go to the pumpkin patch? now i may not have thousands of dollars to spend on clothes but i deffinately hook my son up, you know? he gets everything he needs, it may not be name brand but its something. the situation made me feel bad.
WI MOM– for your info i am not dumping him in daycare. this is his first year going he is 4 years old. i am WILLING to raise him full time but unfortunately i am not rich like you must be where i can stay home, eat bon bons all day, and live off my husbands money. i need to work too. so befire you open your mouth, know the facts! ![]()
everybody else– thanks for your feedback!! its so nice to see that there are nice people here!! =)
